At Waiuku’s bi-cultural View Road School (Years 1-8), student learning within and beyond the classroom is infused with three key values: Responsibility (Whakaute), Respect (Manaaki), and Safety (Haumaru).

When Playground Creations etched those values into the balance beams of the school’s new playground, the kura knew their play space was unique and special. Moreover, the range of climbing, sliding, swinging, and strengthening equipment installed enables the children to live those values in their daily play.

The design also maximised the shade of the school’s beautiful big old trees, enabling our team to make good use of natural colours and materials.
